Last night, we had the pleasure of joining our neighbors at the Cottage Grove Community Night Out! From helicopter visits, splash pad fun, and a movie on the rugby field, there’s nothing quite like seeing our community come together to celebrate everything that makes Cottage Grove such a special place to call home.
Honoring a Hometown Hero on Our Team
We’re incredibly proud of our VP of Construction, Justin Leistikow, who wasn’t just representing Eldon Homes at the event. Justin also serves with the Cottage Grove Fire Department. Seeing him connect with families in both roles – as someone who helps build their homes, and as someone who helps keep them safe – really captures what community service is all about. Hometown homebuilder by day, hometown hero by night!
Young Builders
Our team set up a booth that had kids (and a few adults!) excited about home building. We brought along coloring pages featuring our house plans. It was so fun to see young architects at work, adding their creative touches to our designs. The Magnatiles were a huge hit, too. Kids were building everything from towering castles to long semi trucks.
And nothing topped the excitement when we handed out toy hard hats to our young builders. Even a few four-legged friends wanted to join the construction crew!
Building Stronger Communities One Home at a Time
As we continue to grow and build homes throughout Dane County and southern Wisconsin, nights like these remind us why we’re so passionate about being part of these communities. We’re not just building houses, we’re helping create the places where memories are made, where neighbors become friends, and where hometown heroes like Justin can serve the people they care about.
